Here's a cute little happy snap of me with my grandmother at her birthday lunch this year (wearing my favourite summer dress from MINKPINK) which I wanted to share with you, along with two other things. The first is a something that I wrote for my beloved Purple Sneakers on Sydney band Deep Sea Arcade, who were lovely enough to mention it (and me!) on their Facebook. Listening to their music fills me with a happy little nostalgia; it makes me think of when I was young, and NOVA wasn't NOVA but Star FM, playing nothing but hits from the Sixties and Seventies. (So honestly it's safe to say that I've been playing 'Steam' while doing housework and that I'm awaiting the release of their album, Outlands, on March 9th with baited breath.)
The second thing I wanted to share was a little playlist for the past few days featuring Caitlin Park, an artist that I recently discovered when given the opportunity to quiz her for Purple Sneakers with a Q&A segment that should be posted soon.
